1. What are Contacts for?
Contacts are direct connections to the prayer requests of a specific member of the community. When you have a contact added to your contact list, you will see the number of requests this particular person has waiting for your prayers. These requests will no longer appear in the global request list. In this way you can focus your prayers on the ones you have special interest in.

2. How do I get contacts?
Currently contacts are people you know, your friends. You need to ask your friends for the email account they used to register in *I am Praying 4 you* and use it to add them as contacts.

4. What is a private prayer?
The main objective of *I am Praying 4 You* is to pray for prayer requests. However, sometimes you may like to pray for someone in your contact list who does not have any prayer request. If this is the case you can double click the contact and a window will open allowing you to send a message to your friend. Your friend will be notified that you have sent a private prayer and he/she will be able to retrieve your message to read. You can send private prayers as many times as you want.

5. Where I can see how many people have prayed for my request?
Double click on “History” to see your sent requests. In the requests list will be displayed the number of prayers offered beside the posting date.

6. How can I say thank you to the ones praying for my request?
In the “History” option you will find the button “Say Thank You”. It will open a window where you can type your thank you message. Each member who prayed for your request will be notified about your thank you message. You can retrieve thank you messages by double clicking the option “Thank you” in the contact list.

7. What is the diary for?
Sometimes you may want to pray for a request more than once. In this case, while displaying the prayer request, you can click on the button “Add this request to the Diary”. Later you can double click the option “Diary” in the contact list and you will find the requests you selected. You can pray for these requests as long and as often as you want. Each time you pray for them the user will receive notification.

8. How do I limit my requests only to people who I want to see them?
If you don’t want to display your message to everybody in the community but only to your friends in your contact list, this what you need to do: Go to the menu and choose the option “Preferences”. There you should check the option “Limit requests only to contact list” and save. Remember!! In order for this option to work you should have your friends in your contact list and your friends should have you in their contact list.
